I decided to have a few friends over (Corinne, Becky, Leah) and have a little hair-dying party. Becky wanted to dye her hair and my roots were growing out. The last time I high lighted my hair I had my mom and Whitney do it and I loved it! It turned out really good and I saved some money so I thought I'd try it again. Bad idea. Horrible idea. Horrific idea. Take a look for yourself:
Here is my first glimpse of myself once the foils were out...

Here is my ORANGE hair!

The entire top of my head was completely bleached. I've had hair drama before but NOTHING like this!

The next morning I decided to be smart and go to a professional. She weaved in some brown but now I feel like I have black and white stripes. I guess it is better than orange? Here is the after picture:

So much for trying to save some money! Now I want to go again and get some more blonde in it but I am afraid my hair will fall out!! I think I should probably give it a break for a while. My hair has been in a bun ever since and will most likely stay that way for a few weeks.....I don't have anyone that does my hair right now so if any of you know of a good hair stylist let me know, I need all the help I can get!

Lindsay! That is too funny! I'm sure it wasn't to you though. My sister and I have dyed each others hair so many times and there is usually some catastrophe, but we never learn we just try it again and have more stories to add to the list, pink hair, blue hair, no hair :). I actually really like the dark and blonde picture at the end. It looks like it looks really good. I think it's cute! :) Even if you didn't have any hair you would still be beautiful LIndsay! :)
Oh my little Lindsay, did I not teach you anything about bleaching your own hair! hahaha Jk I was laughing so hard at your face and the pictures cause I think we have all been through this before! I once had white and pink stripes!!!! No Joke! I think it looks cute in the last picture!!! And the blonde will fade a bit in a week or so!
oh unlucky! It really isn't that bad though...now that you fixed it :) I miss Dan too! This is embarassing, but I haven't even cut my hair since she left...yuck!
ha i hadnt laughed that hard in a while :)
Oh my linds!!!! Thanks for posting that too funny! I think it looks cute now :)
So I am here in town this wk is crazy next week not so much if you want to do a park playdate let me know :)
Oh no. If I was there I would have fixed it for you. The blonde and brown will fade in a week two at the most. Wash your hair everyday cause the chemicals in the shampoo will make the color fade. The brown will fade much faster than the blonde but the blonde will fade as well. Just give yourself time to get used to it. It's a shock now but it will get better.
I like the way your hair looks now. I need to do something different with mine.
oh dear! well it really does look cute in the last picture. but i know what you mean with wanting more blonde because i've put too much brown in mine before and it feels weird! if you ever need someone to do your hair, i always go to kensey gubler. she's the best!
There is nothing worse than a hair disaster. I feel you! I have been there so many times. Trying to save money always costs more. at least the end result turned out cute
