While we were in California we visited the arboretum in Santa Anita. There were peacocks roaming around everywhere so the kids could walk right up to them. I never knew they made such loud noises, Ella and Kash were imitating them for days!
If you look close you can see the turtles. As soon as we got to the bank they came to the shore. There were TONS. We would try to feed them but there were these catfish that would jump out of the water and get the food before the turtles or ducks could get to it.
These birds were pretty smart because as we would feed the animals they would perch there until one of the baby fish would come to the surface for a snack and would sweep down and grab it! They just held them in their beaks until they died and swallowed them whole!
It was really pretty there, Whitney might even take her bridal pictures here! More pics to come of our fun week.
