Easter morning

Easter morning we had a small Easter egg hunt at home and the kids opened their baskets.
Matt read a letter from the Easter Bunny explaining how many eggs there were. Ella was already so excited.
Searching for eggs
Posing with their baskets.
They were both really happy to get Tangled. Kash grabbed it from Ella and started shaking uncontrollably he was so excited!
Ella has my sweet tooth and is ALL about the candy.

Easter Eggs

We had lots of cousins over to our house to dye Easter Eggs. Gina and her kids were there as well as 3 of Doug and Tiff's kids who were in town from Montana. It was a lot of messy fun!

Emily, Tanner, Lindsey

Kash and Adam are so dang cute together.
I think every one of Ella's eggs were pink!
Joel cheesing it for the camera. When we were just about done Joel accidentally spilled a whole cup of bright blue dye all over himself and the floor! I thought Matt was going to pass out haha!
I LOVE this pose from Emily!

I wish Lindsey lived closer to us, she is the BEST helper ever.
Two years in a row Adam's hands have been dyed totally green.

We decided next year we will do this project outside.

Park Play Date

Every Tuesday some of the moms in the neighborhood do a play date at the park. I love how funny this picture is. Some looking, some not, some eating, some shirtless, etc. These are such cute memories.

Where's Ella?

Matt went to check on the kids before we went to bed and told me to come upstairs. We were standing outside of Ella's room and he whispered "Try to find Ella." It was dark and it took me a minute but then I saw this mop of crazy hair sticking out from between her headboard and mattress. I can't believe she fell asleep like this.

My green thumb

I have lived in my house for over a year and these are the first flowers I have planted. I have really wanted some by my front door so I finally did it. I don't know a thing about gardening so I thought I better take a picture while they still looked pretty! It has been a couple of weeks now and they definitely don't look as good as they do here. I should probably rip them out and put fake ones in! That's how bad I am.

Karlee and Jaren

My little sister Karlee was married in the Los Angeles Temple on April 9th. Her and her cute husband Jaren are the most darling couple! They are so so cute together and he has the most amazing family that we were able to meet and get to know. They have a tradition of an "Advice Dinner" the night before the wedding and it was so fun. They prepared a delicious meal and then whoever wanted to give advice was welcome to. He comes from a family of 13 children so it was overwhelming trying to remember who was who but they are seriously the nicest people I have ever met. I am so happy for Karlee to be a part of this sweet Soleberg Family.
These are the only pictures I had time to take! Not even a single one of the bride and groom, I am so sad. I will have to steal some from Kar. These are all taken outside of the temple while we waited for them to come out.

I wish I could show you all how beautiful Karlee looked:(

Lounging

These two were just eating their lunch and lounging in the backyard together.

I tried to stick Evie in there but she wasn't having it. She looks bigger than Ella in this picture! (She almost is...)

Family of Five

Our attempt at a family photo...too bad I have a mullet:(

Shower caps and shots

Ella wore a shower cap for the first time and she thought it was the coolest thing! She has SO much hair.

The band aids on her arms are from the shots she received at Kindergarten registration. I cannot believe my tiny little Ella will be going to school this fall. She couldn't be more excited, she talks about Kindergarten all the time. She is really smart and did well at the testing. She will definitely be on the younger end, and she is small, so I just hope she doesn't get overwhelmed. I explained to her that she was going to have to get shots, and she said, "I don't care Mom!" She was literally singing down the school halls, "I'm ready for my shots, I'm ready for my shots!" All of the other moms were amazed at her attitude, but I'm telling you this girl really wants to go to kindergarten! If its going to take a couple of shots to get her there, she can handle that. I've debated about holding her back, but at this point I don't think she'd let me!

6 months and cereal

Evie is 6 months old and I am just now getting around to feeding her rice cereal. You would think I was feeding her steak and potatoes by the look of her thighs, they are seriously enormous! She has been eating this for the last couple of days and seems to really like it (I'm not surprised...I was pretty sure she would enjoy food) although it is quite the process. She is still figuring out how to work that tongue of hers so it is a mess but by the middle to end of her feeding she gets the hang of it.

It was quite the family affair...I was feeding Evie, Matt and Kash were video taping, and Ella was taking the pictures. You can tell by the angle of these pics that someone little is taking them!

Triple Time

Matt was giving Ella and Kash a bath and I thought we should stick Evie in too. It would save time and they would have fun. Well her tub kept floating around and she kept sliding down and they were all a little squished so no, it didn't really save any time. But yes, they did have fun!
You can't really tell from this picture because by the time I had everything covered up they didn't want to smile anymore!

This is the Life

Holding her own bottle...legs crossed...nothing better.
