The Dance Recital

This might be our last dance recital for awhile. Ella decided that she would rather take gymnastics so we are going to take a little break from dance. She just never really wanted to go to class but once she was there she was fine. I think next time I will put her in with some neighbor friends and I bet she won't have a problem going. Her recital was hilarious. Matt and I both thought she regressed! She did much better at the last recital and when we talked to her afterwards she said that a certain girl was always in her spot! That made sense because the entire time she was looking at the floor where her tape was and she was always kind of behind another girl. Maybe we will have better luck with gymnastics?

Surprise Surprise I could not get this girl to give me a real smile. She got so frustrated and finally said, "Mom, I don't know how to smile!!"

You might notice she is sporting straight hair. She had been begging for weeks to straighten her hair so for her recital we finally did. She loved it and said she wanted straight hair forever.
