I need to be better at documenting the things my kids say. They say the funniest things but I never write it down which means I never remember it. So starting right now, I am going to try to at least post about it. This is something Ella said that we thought was funny but I think you had to be there! Matt and I had gone on a much needed date night while my grandma, who the kids call "Bo" babysat. After we picked them up and were driving away this is the short conversation that took place:
Ella: "OH NO! I forget to tell Bo something!"
Me: "What did you forget to tell her?"
Ella: (very seriously) "That I love her."
Me: "Well, we'll be sure to tell her that next time we see her."
Ella: Silence and then in a loud wailing voice filled with utter despair..." OHHHH what have I done!??????"
And then the hysteria set in. I guess she just couldn't believe that she would forget something so important.
We quickly picked up the phone and called Bo so Ella could talk to her immediately.
Ella is such a little drama queen. Her preschool teacher says its the "Ella show" when she is there and believes she will win an Oscar in a dramatic role. She is such a handful but she is so funny and says the most clever things. People keep telling me that girls and drama are one and the same but it should get better once she turns 4? Well, her birthday is coming up and I don't see much changing by then but I guess we will just wait it out and see.

That is hilarious! I love hearing what kids say.
And, girls are drama.
Hahahaha! That is hysterical! She is too much! That's a good idea to write things your kids say down, I know I'll have a ton when Harlow can talk, she's already showing signs of being a major drama queen! :)
I think I have my hands on a drama queen as well....wish me luck!
It does get better at 4. Hang in there! I will tell you the hormones start at about 5. LOL This is why I think boys are easier than girls! Good Luck!
