ALL BOY

Kash is a little obsessed with cars. (and trains and airplanes and bikes and motorcycles....:)) It is so funny to me how he is seriously ALL boy. I don't teach him to like these things, he just does. We will be driving in the car and he will absolutely freak out when he sees a bus, or a diesel truck, etc. People are always asking me if there is a difference with having a boy and a girl, and there definitely is! Ella will want me to hold her while Kash will growl at me and jump on my head. Ella will sit and color while Kash will throw his cars at the tv. And of course Kash is physically enormous while Ella is very petite. And boys arent nearly as dramatic as girls, although Kash does love to sit and pout with his big bottom lip hanging out! One similarity with my kids though is they like to take their favorite toys to bed with them. Ella will be buried in stuffed animals and Kash will not lay down until he has a car in each hand. So this is how I found Kash when I went to check on him during the night:

And as I walked down the hallway I stopped when I saw this:
I am so glad I've had the chance to have a boy and a girl! I feel pretty lucky!

Lindsay: Amen to all you said about boys and girls!!! I am wanting to redo my blog and I can't remember how to put that enlarged picture up at the top? I know how to change the background and a friend who moved to Texas helped me do it last time and now that I want to change the pict. again I can't do it. Can you explain it, or is it too complicated?! :)

That is seriously so cute! I love all the cars lined up. Addie is the same way with stuffed animals she has millions in her crib when she goes to bed!

No, I can leave the house. Because this is flu and RSV season, they're telling us not to take newborns anywhere around lots of people (grocery shopping, church, etc.) for at least three months. Thank goodness for grandmas! I'd go insane if I couldn't leave for that long!

So although i can't comment on the whole girly thing. I totally agree how we don't teach our boys to like cars and run around. They just do it. Hilarious. And i love the line of cars. And that we get to read each others' blogs about it. Love it. :)
