Any Ideas?

I was thinking about making a display for Ella's hair accessories. As of right now they are all crammed in the bathroom drawer and I don't even know what's in there. I was considering making one with chicken wire and a wooden frame...I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about? I think it should be easy enough to make? If any of you have made one of these, or something similar, or have a different idea, please let me know! I just want something that is cute enough to hang up but also keeps all of her bows, headbands, clips, barrettes, etc, organized. I am not the most crafty person so any tips would be helpful.
I found one idea that is kind of cute HERE.

Being the crafty Utah mom that I am, I could totally help you make one. I watched them make one on "Good Things Utah". We will have to get together and take the kids for a play date and pick out some material or scrapbook paper for behind the chicken wire. Call Me!! 634-5000

I have seen those- they are cute- I made molly one for all her bows(I put her headbands in a little box) but the clips and bows. I got a piece of wood and painted it to match her room then I got about 6 yards of ribbon to hang down ( 6 piece of 1 yd. each) then tied a bow with that same ribbon to glue on the top of each piece. Then the strips hang down and you clip them on. I have a picture of it if you want me to email it to you let me know. It looks pretty cute and holds a lot of bows.

I saw the chicken wire one on Good Things Utah, too, and I made some frames. They were picture holders, though. You just need to be sure that the wire is wide enough to hold the clips. I also made the frame with ribbon (similar to the one on your link). They're really cute, but unless you use a really big frame, they don't hold very many clips. (This is especially true if you clip has a bow or flower on it. I saw this unique bow holder (http://www.girlythingsbows.com/ballet_tutu_bow_holder.html) that you might want to take a look at. Good luck!

I have been wanting to make one of these too! I think I am going to try and find some older frames, paint them and then just put chicken wire behind it. ( I have seen the chicken wire bow holders and they tend to hold more bows and clippies then the other ones) I haven't gotten around to it yet, but if I do I will email you it. Also, if you decide what you are doing let me know I want to see how it turns out!!!

I know I should have brought her with me. It was the first date me and Clint had been on without her. So I was bummed she wasnt with me too. Ella is so darn cute, she has the cutest little personality. I just emailed you the pics of the bow holder. And I make all Molly's bows, every once in a while I will buy one just cuz its cute and I dont wanna make it ha ha!She prob. has way too many for her own good, but I make her more and more all the time!!!!

Well, I don't have this problem, but I saw an idea on martha stewart's site
http://www.marthastewart.com/article/girls-catchall?autonomy_kw=hair%20frame%20holder&rsc=header_9
for more space you would either have to use a big frame, or use a small frame and put a picture in the middle and hang the ribbons down from the bottom of it instead of in the middle part. IT's and idea?
