Potty Problems...

So after a few days of "potty training" I pretty much have given up. I didn't really go at it hard core or anything. A few times during the day I would put her on the toilet....and nothing ever happened. I just don't think that she's that interested yet. If she does want to sit on it, its only for a minute and she wants off. So does anyone have any advice out there? Should I wait a few more months or should I go all out and try the 3 day potty training or whatever it is? Take her off diapers completely? That sounds pretty scary to me. I don't know if I'm ready, let alone Ella.

When she is ready she will do it. She is just barely 2, no need to rush. That pic is adorable!

I love those little potty seats! My nephew has one and they are pretty darn cute! I have no idea what to do but I am sure you will figure it out!

The best thing is to stay calm yourself - something that I always failed at durring potty trainig!
Lydia is done since May. We had so many starts and stops with her. I think she just finally stuck with it when she was ready but I did keep introducing it so she was not expected to change her habits all at once with no time to warm up to the idea and when it got too stressful for me or her I just backed off. You'll do great and one friend always use to tell me "They won't go to kindergarten in diapers, so don't worry"
Love ya & see you in 3 weeks!

lindsay maybe I am wrong but I think persistance is the key?! Dont push her to the point it scares her but I would say that you have to keep trying!

what a big girl...its already potty time?? Ella is supposed to remain little forever I thought :)
not that I'm a mom, but a lady I tend for just helps give her little one the motivation to potty by a treat. he loves tonka fruit snacks and gets them if he goes (whole bag for a lot- a few snacks for little bit of potty)

We had better potty training when we waited until they were interested to work at it. But we also encouraged "practice" sitting like Ella is doing in the picture, at about that age for as long and as often as we could. Don't stress over it make it FUN!
