Kash

Kash is getting so big! It is crazy how fast time goes by. He is already over 6 months old now and over 18 lbs. I think once you have kids you can really see the time go by. I am so thankful for this little boy, he is such a good baby! He is always smiling and has the cutest laugh. He is so good to just sit and entertain himself which is a huge help to me for those of you who know Ella...
He will just sit in his stroller if we go to the park or the pool, and will be content just watching everybody. He is such a blessing in our lives!

It's Summer!

I did it! I finally figured out how to do a collage! I am feeling so smart right now! I know probably every other blogger already knows how to do these kind of things, but I am a bit slow with this stuff. Anyways, we went swimming for the first time this year over Easter weekend. It was perfect weather! It was hot, but not too hot where you couldn't enjoy laying out. That is my idea of perfect. It felt so good to be in the sun.

EASTER

Easter was crazy this year. The whole weekend was one long party because my family came into town. Every year Matt does the Easter activities, so he is always trying to make it better than the year before. He out did himself this year, it was basically a carnival! While the kids were hunting for eggs, other things were going on as well. There was a bubble machine blowing bubbles all across the yard, there was pin the tail on the "bunny", there was a pinata, and a game set up where if you knocked over the cups you got a prize. The kids didn't know where to start! Afterwards we had a big baseball game in the culdesac, it was so much fun! Everyone agreed it was the best year yet, I don't know how Matt is going to top this!

Bob's Birthday

We had a fun party for Bob's birthday. Bob is my grandpa-he insists on being called by his name because "grandpa" makes him feel old. My Aunt and Uncle came down from Cedar with their kids so it was a party!

Matt was in charge of getting the cake-if you look closely you can see that it is a full-on princess cake. He thought he was pretty clever.

Sick

I'm so sick of being sick! It all started with Ella (I think she got it from going to nursery), she has had the worst cold for over a week! So now everyone has it, including cute little innocent Kash! I feel so bad for him, he just seems too little to be sick. They both have the most horrible cough ever and I've never seen so much green snot in my life! Matt and I aren't quite as bad but we definitely don't feel well. I tried to take them to the doctor yesterday and it was a 3 hour wait and there was no way I could do that. I just hope everyone is better before Easter.

ADAM

Today my cute little nephew Adam is one year old! The sad thing is both him and his dad are sick, so no party! It is going to have to be postponed for a day or two...at least he doesn't know the difference. He is such a doll, we love the Alton Family!

Rice Cereal

I finally decided that it was time to give Kash rice cereal. He eats SO much that I thought this might tame his hunger a bit. I'm not sure how he felt about it....I think I got a few bites in him!

Ten Years Ago....
I don't want to try to figure this out so if Kristen says we were in 9th grade, I'll believe her. 9th grade was all about the girls! I swear we had some kind of party every weekend. I loved it.

I Enjoy....
My family. I could hang out with my parents and sisters everyday. I love to play games, we do that a lot because we can have friends over to our house and not worry about the kids so much. Date night with my husband, it's only once a month and oh so needed! Playing with my kids. Summer-I love to be outside and can't wait to be at the pool everyday with Ella and Kash!

1-I moved away from home when I was 16. So little!

Bath Paints

Bath paints are so fun! My mom got these for Ella to play with and she loved it. It washes right off, so its easy to clean. I think its a fun way to switch up bath time.

I love this one because she's clenching her cheeks together! She must really be concentrating...

Twins?

I have never really thought that Kash looked like anyone, he just kind of has his own look. But my mom pulled out this picture of Ella when she was Kash's age, and they really do look a lot alike!

Vegas Baby!

So at the last minute yesterday I decided to go to Las Vegas. Matt said he would watch the kids and somehow I talked Corinne into leaving work a little early(which is NOT an easy thing to do!) and we went! We just had a couple of hours to do some shopping, but it was worth it. Our last stop was Town Square, which I had never been to. It was so fun, I definitely want to go back when I have more time to walk around. The only store we went to there was H&M, but who needs anything else? I LOVE H&M and if you've never been you need to! They have such cute clothes for good prices, and you can shop for the whole family there. It was a fun spur of the moment getaway!

We did it!

So the day Matt got home from his trip he cut the nipple off of Ella's binky. She was SO mad when he gave it back to her! She was trying so hard to put it in her mouth and suck, but it just wasn't working. I have been planning to do this, I have just been putting it off. I guess I'm just selfish and didn't want my life to get any harder! The thing that is so frustrating is that Ella never took a binky when she was a baby. When we started having them around for Kash (he won't take one either) is when she started figuring out that maybe she liked them after all! She has definitely been more fussy since she can't have it, but it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. Hopefully she will completely forget they exist!
