FoUrTh Of JuLy

That night we did our own fireworks which Ella and Kash loved, but Evie did NOT like the loud noises.  She cuddled up with whoever was nearest to her! Of course it was hot, even at night, so she was guzzling water and getting it all over herself.
Here she is with Jayme, cringing at the explosions.
Kash wasn't afraid at all this year, he was right up in the action.
Ella as usual was all about lighting things on fire.
I was just happy to get some loves from this girl!

We went downtown to watch the city fireworks, which were amazing this year.  This is Ella's face at the sight of it:

Cody, Ella, and Kash enjoying the show.

Happy 4th of July!

The Parade

4th of July Parade! We decorated bikes and headed to the neighborhood breakfast and parade.  Here is Kash all ready to go, he had a great time until on the way home he was going fast down the hill and fell hard off his bike.  Luckily someone stopped and gave him and I a ride home so he didn't have to ride his bike the rest of the way:(
Evie having a slight melt down as we were getting ready to leave.
Ella on the other hand is all smiles!
 She eventually did stop screaming:)

Lining up for the race/parade.

Matt and Evie watched from the sidelines.

Ella and Evie "smiling" for the camera.

Wheelchair Rides

Our sweet cousin Julia made good use of Grandpa Bob's wheelchair.  She had all three kids on that thing and was racing them around the house on it!  They thought it was great, who needs a roller coaster when you have a wheelchair?

Tooth Fairy Time

Kash lost his first tooth! He is only 4 years old so this was a bit of an issue with his older sister Ella who is 6 and has NOT lost a tooth yet.  She has been talking about loosing a tooth for months and then out of nowhere Kash loses one before she does!

He got 3 dollars and a pack of gum which he shared with Ella to make her feel a little better about the situation:)

Evie Evie Evie

This girl keeps us on our toes, to say the least.  She is such a handful but so much fun.  Right now her two favorite things are to dress up, and play with her babies.  If she finds clothes, she will put them on.  If I tell her we are going swimming, she will come out of her room with 4 different swimsuits "on." (wrapped around her legs, head, etc.)  Ella never really played with dolls so this obsession with babies is new to me.  She usually has one in tow, in her crib, and is constantly saying "baby...shhh!"  She really is growing up fast.

Dance Camp

Ella did a dance camp this summer with the girls in our neighborhood.  She had two of the cutest teachers, Miranda and Erika who are sisters.  They practiced for a week and then performed two separate dances at the recital.  She had so much fun!  Evie took off with my camera as the program began so I only got these three pictures once it was over.

Summer Swimming

We have been swimming a lot this summer.  These three kids are little fish. They love the water and have no fear!
